Well another NAVUG Summit Conference has come and gone. This one showed record-breaking attendance with a total of over 7,000 attendees for all user groups and more than 1,700 for NAV/BC alone. The keynote address teased us with new features coming in the next major release for BC and showed the amazing growth that BC has seen in the last 12 months. BC continues to be a vital part of the Microsoft Dynamics Offering.
As always, there were more sessions of interest than there was time for attending. Innovia put on several sessions for attendees and all were filled to capacity. We appreciate your support and the interest you show in learning. Attendance in the exhibit hall was great with the largest number of ISVs and VARs I have seen at a Summit conference in a long time. We met with many of you as you came by our booth and good discussions were had by all. As always it is good to meet face to face and talk about the future.
We capped off the week with our annual customer dinner. This has grown to be one of the most sought after events at Summit. We had over 180 people at our dinner, most people staying the entire time from 6 pm to 10 pm talking with both Innovia staff and more importantly, other users. Talking with other users at Summit is by far the best part of the conference. Comparing notes on issues, ideas and best practices provides attendees with as much information as do the sessions. If you weren’t able to make it this year, reserve time on your calendar for early next October. It will be in Nashville and will be even bigger and better. Hope to see you there.
